Introduction to behavior, analysis and design of structures; including design criteria, loads, modeling of structural systems, design with various material types (e.g. steel, concrete, timber, masonry). Discussion of the design process, and societal/global context of structural design. Case studies used throughout the course. Prerequisites: ENGR 230 and ENGR 242.
