Entrance Deferral

A student may elect to defer enrollment for one or two years after being admitted. Requests must be submitted in writing to buenroll@bucknell.edu any time between receipt of an offer of admission and July 1. A nonrefundable deposit will be required to hold this space. Deferrals are typically granted to students who desire to engage in personal enrichment or community service activities. Students may not request a delay in their Bucknell enrollment to attend a secondary school, college, or university full time. Requests may be declined for any reason.
