Equilibrium of rigid body systems, including analysis of trusses, beams and frames for internal forces and moments. Introduction to stress and strain, including their relationship and stress transformations. Prerequisites: (PHYS 211P and MATH 201) or MATH 205, or permission of the instructor. Open to civil or environmental engineering majors. All others should waitlist.
