Entrance Deferral

A student may elect to defer enrollment for one or two years after being admitted. Requests must be submitted in writing using the defer request form any time between receipt of an offer of admission and June 1. A nonrefundable deposit will be required to hold this space. Deferrals are typically granted to students who desire to engage in personal enrichment or community service activities. Students may not request a delay in their Bucknell enrollment to attend a secondary school, college or university full time. Requests may be declined for any reason.
