This course will investigate how diverse organisms address common biological challenges such as, but not limited to growth and development, nutrient acquisition, osmoregulation, reproduction, circulation, and response to environmental stimuli. We will explore these questions at the organismal, cellular and molecular level with an evolutionary lens. Prerequisites: BIOL 203 and BIOL 204. Crosslisted as BIOL 610.
