In this course we will discuss such topics as gametogenesis, sex determination, placental formation and assisted reproductive technologies. The focus will be on human reproduction, but other animals may be discussed for comparison. Students will be expected to read, discuss and present on primary literature. Prerequisites: BIOL 203 and BIOL 204. Crosslisted as BIOL 649.
