This seminar course will explore evolutionary approaches to medical theory and practice, including topics such as the fundamental nature of and relationship between patients and disease, evolution of human defenses to illness, pathogen evolution, cardiovascular disease, cancer, reproductive medicine, and mismatches between the modern environment and the human body.
