Focuses on recorded experiences of German-language writers, poets, playwrights and filmmakers outside geographical boundaries of German states from 18th-21st C. Introduces concepts of cross-cultural exchange, linguistic assimilation, artistic synthesis and critical analysis of the writer’s new cultural and linguistic context and the critical lens that is turned back on Germany.
