Simulation-based learning for concepts including sampling, sampling distributions, p-values and confidence levels. Data visualization beyond simple exploratory data analysis techniques. Advanced statistical software will be used. Prerequisites: MATH 216 or STAT 216 or MATH 227 or STAT 227 or permission of the instructor. Not open to students with MATH 230 credit.
