An introduction to the principles of production dramaturgy using a play from the current artistic season as an exemplar. Students will study the play in a variety of contexts. They will then perform the role of production dramaturg by reviewing primary and secondary sources, analyzing and synthesizing research and creating information resources for the production's actors, creative team and audience.
